Heritage to host skateboard, BMX competition
The Element Student Ministry at Heritage Christian Church will host a Skateboard and BMX Competition for the community Saturday, June 2 for ages seventh grade to adult. Sign-ups begin at 4 p.m. at the Heritage Skate Park. All competitors must bring a helmet and provide a signed waiver form. The Element is the student ministry at Heritage Christian Church, grades 7 through 12. Heritage is at 2130 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville. ‘Experiencing God’ Bible study set for June 3
Fayetteville First Baptist Church invites members of the community to a 12-week Bible study, “Experiencing God,” beginning Sunday, June 3, at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center. The study will continue each Sunday evening for 12 weeks. Childcare is available for children through fifth grade. Children in sixth grade and up may participate in the study. Carriage Lane VBS: June 4-8
“Water Works Park” Vacation Bible School will be held at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8, from 9 .am. until noon. Providence UMC VBS: June 11-15
Registration is now open for Avalanche Ranch VBS at Providence United Methodist Church set for June 11-15. The theme is “A Wild Ride through God’s Word!” Cost is $15 per child with a maximum of $45 per family. T-shirts are included. Harp’s Crossing VBS: June 11-15
Harp’s Crossing Baptist church will host “Game Day Central” Vacation Bible School June 11-15 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Children ages four (by Sept. 1) through completed sixth grade are eligible to participate. Register at the church, 1183 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, or online at www.harpscrossing.com.

Flat Creek to host movie viewing June 15
Flat Creek Baptist Church will host an “Evening Under the Stars” Friday, June 15, at 9 p.m. with a free viewing of “Facing the Giants” on a big screen in the field next to the church. Those planning to attend are asked to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available at a minimal cost.
