Special Olympics torch run coming to Fayetteville Thurs.Mon, 05/21/2007 - 10:21am

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for the annual Georgia Special Olympics games will be coming through downtown Fayetteville Thursday around 8 a.m. The torch will come into Fayetteville on Ga. Highway 54 starting at Gingercake Road. The run will pause briefly for a small celebration at the gazebo/fountain area at the Fayette County Administrative Complex before continuing eastward on Hwy. 54 toward Jonesboro. The torch will end up at Emory University for the Georgia summer Special Olympics games, which begin Friday. login to post comments |
