Whitewater Middle administrators celebrated their special day on May 1 with a catered lunch and tokens of appreciation from parents.

In honor of National School Principals Day, the school’s PTO surprised principal Sandra Kidd and two assistant principals Kim Lhota and Steve Greene with a special lunch from City Café along with balloons, stickers and cards expressing appreciation for the work the principals do everyday to make Whitewater a great learning environment for students.

“The Whitewater Middle School principals have done a wonderful job with our exploding 1,190 student population this year. We found an appropriate musical card that played the song ‘What a Difference You’ve Made in My Life’ with a message inside that said ‘You are appreciated’ and it was signed ‘from me’ and we added underneath ‘all 1,190,’ says parent Gayle Kastenbauer.

National School Principals Day is celebrated annually on the first Tuesday in May.
