By: The Citizen
Square Foot Ministry (SFM) is having its annual yard sale in the Family Life Center and parking lot of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, May 18-19. Tax-deductible donations are still being accepted. Contact Judy Reynolds, 770-461-8529, to arrange for a pick-up. All proceeds from the yard sale will be used for the Blitz Build, rescheduled for July 6-14. This year’s build is a house for a single mother caring for a disabled teenage daughter in Griffin. All SFM projects are funded through donations by businesses, churches, and individuals. All labor, except for plumbing and electrical, is done by volunteers from area churches. This weekend’s sale will feature furniture, electronics, household goods, appliances, books, music, toys, and children’s clothing. Adult clothing is available at The Mission Thrift Store, also operated by SFM, on North Park Street between Ga. Hwy. 85 and Jeff Davis Drive. login to post comments |
