The Masterworks Chorale, a performing group of The Centre for Performing & Visual Arts, will perform its holiday concert today at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 and are available at the door, at the Centre, and at Scott’s Bookstore on the Court Square. The concert will consist of selections from Robert Shaw’s popular “The Many Moods of Christmas.” The audience will be regaled with many familiar and heartwarming Christmas carols and seasonal favorites, such as “Good Christian Men Rejoice,” “Silent Night,” “Patapan,” and “Joy to the World.” Masterworks Chorale is under the direction of Kathy Bizarth, choral director at Newnan High School. Their accompanist is David Kinrade, choral director and organist at Newnan United Methodist Church.
