Uganda children’s choir performs tomorrow
The Uganda Children’s Choir, a group of 28 talented third graders, will perform at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Newnan Thursday, May 17 at 7 pm. The children are students, some of them orphans as well, at the Royal School and Orphanage in Uganda. They are touring this summer in an effort to raise funds to finish their school and orphanage which is currently under construction. Visit www.suubi.net for more information. Carriage Lane VBS set for June 4-8
“Water Works Park” Vacation Bible School will be held at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8, from 9 am. until noon. ‘Holy Hilarity’ planned at Christ Our Shepherd
On Monday, June 4, at 7 p.m. a special service of worship, “Holy Hilarity” will be held at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City to celebrate God’s gift of humor. The flute choir will play. Christ Our Shepherd is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

Campbellton UMC to host gospel concert June 3
The Lumber River Quartet and local vocalist Tere Ayers will perform in concert at Campbellton United Methodist Church in Fairburn Sunday, June 3, at 6 p.m. The concert is free but a love offering will be taken. Step back in time at Open Door Baptist
Open Door Baptist Church in Senoia invites the community to step back in time and enjoy “Old Fashion Day” Sunday, May 20, at the church. Sunday school is at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship with Brother Tom Duff. Lunch will follow the service, photos will be taken and games will be played. Atlanta Kingdom Life Conference is June 28-30
Living Word Christian Fellowship and International Team Ministries will sponsor the Atlanta Kingdom Life Conference Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 28-30 at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts on Lower Fayetteville Road in Newnan. The event will feature guest speakers Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton and Eric Johnson of Bethel Church in Redding, Calif. The cost is $35 for singles, $65 per married couple and $75 per family (husband, wife and children). Childcare will not be provided. Registration is from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28.
