James and Julie Young of Conyers announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Courtney L. Young, to Bryan Reid Thomas, son of Jimmy and Robin Thomas of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Fowler of Decatur, Ms. Florence Burrell of Loganville, and Charles Young of Conyers. She is a 2001 graduate of Heritage High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of West Georgia where she received a B.A. in psychology. She is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia with a master’s degree in social work.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Cook of Sharpsburg and Mr. and Mrs. Fed Thomas of McDonough. He is a 2001 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a B.S. in marketing. He currently is employed as a physician recruiter with GMC Group in Peachtree City.

The wedding will be June 2, 2007, in McDonough. Following a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Newnan.
