Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin recently alerted consumers to the voluntary recall of Golden Recipe Cranberry Trail Mix because it contains sulfites not listed on the label.

The trail mix, packaged in 7.25 ounce bags
(UPC77449 49872), is produced by Gurley's Foods, Inc., Willmar, Minn. Its product code numbers, printed on the package bags, are: 0508, 0608, 0618, 0678, 0758, 0888, 0898, 0938 and 1158.
Sulfites are preservatives used in dried fruit products. Georgians who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Consumers who have purchased any of recalled trail mix should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Georgians with questions may contact Gurley’s Foods 800-426-7845.
