On May 28, the Downtown Development Authority and the City of Senoia will host its second annual Memorial Day Street Festival to honor veterans from wars past and present. The event begins at 10 a.m. with entertainment all day including a parade through downtown Senoia beginning at 2 p.m. Downtown festivities will continue all day concluding with an evening fireworks display at Leroy Johnson Park on Howard Road.

“The Car Guys,” Scott Sargeant and Charlie Filkins, of 720 The Voice will MC the celebration while Wesley Culpepper of WC Sounds provides music all day. Other entertainment includes Civil and Revolutionary War re-enactors, arts and crafts dealers, pony rides and face painting.
