Senior Master Sgt. Andrew Stephen Boland Jr., United States Army, retired, 85, Peachtree City, formerly of East Point, died May 2, 2007. He was born Jan. 19, 1922 in Scranton, Pa. He served 27 years in the United States Army in World War II, and was a P.O.W. in Germany. He had served in Korea and was stationed in Japan. Graveside services were at the College Park Cemetery with full military honors. Rob Boland officiated.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Thomas and Barbara M Boland, Marietta; a daughter, Deborah Catherine Boland, Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Jessica M. and Andy Boland, Larissa and Robert Andrew Boland, and David Thomas Boland; great-grandchildren, Eli Yancey Waddell and Ethan Andrew Waddell, and Samuel Miller Boland; a brother, John and Pat Boland, Findlay, Ohio; and sisters, Marge Boland, Findlay, Ohio, and Mirian and Merle Whitmer, Silver Springs, Md. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
