Multnomah, a division of Random House, has recently published a book by longtime Peachtree City resident, Mary Frances Bowley, titled “A League of Dangerous Women.”
Bowley formerly served as Women's Ministry Director for First Baptist Church, Peachtree City, and is currently president of the Fayette-based, Wellspring Living. Wellspring Living was officially birthed in Fayette County and incorporated in 2001 as a result of women who came together on the southside from multiple churches, across denominational, racial, and socio-economic lines, to put together a conference, and ended up staying together to help women trying to escape from the adult entertainment industry.

Wellspring Living currently has one residential home, and another in the planning process. It also has three upscale resale shops, named The Wellspring Store, including one in Peachtree City's Peachtree East Publix Shopping Center. These shops rely on donations of nearly new clothing, furniture, and household furnishings to stock the shops. The Wellspring Store sales supply a portion of the budget for the Wellspring Homes.

“A League of Dangerous Women” shares the stories of 12 ladies who started their lives over through the Wellspring Living Program, and how their lives were changed. Wellspring Living is in the process of franchising their program and curriculum across the United States.
“A League of Dangerous Women” was officially launched at the Wellspring Living “Dangerous Journey Event” which took place April 21 at the Georgia Dome. The first 10,000 attendees received a free copy of the book.

Bowley is married to Dick Bowley, and the couple has two sons: Paul, who is graduating from Shorter College, and Matt, who is married to the former Mandy Graham of Peachtree City. Mandy recently gave birth to Cal, the Bowley’s first grandchild.
