Kathryn P. Hewett, 69, Peachtree City, died April 26, 2007. She was born Dec. 29,1937 in Troup County. She was a member of the Philanthropic Education Organization and Lanett Ladies.

Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Betsy Haas officiating. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Edwin W. Hewett, Peachtree city; children, Kay H. and Steven P. Norton, Peachtree City, and Allyson Hewett, Alpharetta; grandchildren, Lanie Norton, Zack Norton, and Sophie Norton, all of Peachtree City; brothers, Ernie and Wannie Pearce, Lanett, Ala., and Al and Linda Perce, Shalimar, Fla.; and sisters, Jean and Robert Elton, Orangeburg, S. C., and Susan and Fred Hite, Henderson, Tenn.
