Fayette Youth Protection Homes will host the annual Friday-Johnson Golf Tournament on Monday, May 14th at Whitewater Country Club. Proceeds from the event benefit the Friday-Johnson Home, a residential group home that provides a safe and loving environment for school-age children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect.

According to event co-chairs Larry Friday and Rosemary McIntyre, “The course at Whitewater Country Club is in the best shape it’s ever been, and we are looking forward to a big turnout to help raise money for the kids at the Fayette Youth Protection Home.”

With two hole-in-one contests, players will have the chance to win a motorcycle from Cycle Specialty in Fayetteville and/or a 2 yr. lease on a Lexus donated by Nalley Lexus. Winners of the longest drive and closest–to-the-pin will win a pair of roundtrip tickets donated by Air Tran Airways.

In addition to these prizes, there will be trophies for each player of the winning teams in three categories: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, 1st place for mixed doubles and 1st place ladies team.

Fayette Youth Protection Homes is a private, non-profit organization, and depends upon the generosity of local businesses, civic groups, churches, and individuals to help meet its expenses. For more information about the home or to sign up for the golf tournament, contact Executive Director, Becky Davenport, at 770-461-7020.
