RE/MAX of Georgia Regional Owner Howard McPherson accepted the Builder’s Visionary Award at the 2007 Christian City Gala held at the Georgia International Convention Center.

The award recognized the real estate organization for donating a cottage to Christian City’s new Children’s Village. The Village provides a family lifestyle to abandoned and abused children who live in a house with up to eight children and a married couple.

Leslie Edwards, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Advantage was among the RE/MAX Affiliates recognized at the Gala. RE/MAX Advantage has four South Metro Atlanta real estate offices and is ranked nationally as #171 in transactions closed among the Top 500 Real Estate Companies in America. Edwards has been with RE/MAX since 1979 and is considered a RE/MAX Pioneer.

Accepting the Award, McPherson said “It is the success of the RE/MAX Sales Associates and Broker/Owners like Leslie Edwards that made this new cottage a reality.”

“The RE/MAX House in the Children’s Village is the perfect gift from an organization that sells homes and I am proud to be a RE/MAX Broker/Owner and Salesperson” Edwards said.

Located in Union City, Christian City is a not for profit organization that has provided care for abused and neglected children since 1965.
RE/MAX has grown every single month for more than 30 years. Very few companies with a worldwide presence can make such a claim.

Recognized by the homebuying and selling public for its red, white and blue hot air balloon logo, RE/MAX has been the No. 1 residential real estate network in Canada since 1987 and is a leading industry force in the United States and many other regions.
