At a recent breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City two seniors from McIntosh High School were honored as Technical Career Students of the Month for February and March. Receiving recognition plaques from Kiwanian past president Pam Dufresne were Morgan Flanders (February) and Rebecca Read (March). Both students were selected for the honor by faculty members. Flanders' school activities include cheerleading, yearbook and volunteering. She plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in accounting. Her goal is then to attend law school and become a securities and exchange lawyer. Read, L, has worked on the yearbook committee for three years and is the ad editor. She plans to attend Georgia Southern and major in marketing. Her goal is to work in the graphics arts/marketing department for a major corporation. Photo/Special. |
