Marie Roberts, 88, Fairburn, died April 14,2007. She was born April 13, 1919 in Fayette County, daughter of Sterling and Ida Leola Griffin Phillips. Graveside services were at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro, with the Rev. Dr. David Chancey officiating. Survivors include a son, Ray and Brenda Roberts, Sharpsburg; a sister, Frances and Rob Waldrop, Fayetteville; and grandson, Rodney Roberts, Newnan.
