Fayette County Solicitor-General James K. Inagawa is doing some spring cleaning in hopes of cleaning up domestic violence in our county. Inagawa is holding a charity yard sale April 26-27 with all proceeds going to benefit Promise Place, Fayette County’s sole provider of comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Inagawa is hosting this fundraiser in conjunction with National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

“In my role as prosecutor I am constantly reminded of how crime impacts individuals on a very personal basis,” says Inagawa. “During Crime Victims’ Rights Week, and throughout the year, we should pay tribute to local resources like Promise Place which assist victims of crime.”

The yard sale will be held at the American Legion building in downtown Fayetteville on Thursday April 26th and Friday April 27th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Inagawa and his staff are gladly accepting donations of clothes, furniture, small appliances and other household items for the sale.

“We are putting together a great selection of items,” Inagawa said. “I encourage everyone to stop by and see what we have to offer.”
