Hulan Cook, 82, Newnan, died April 8, 2007. He was born Jan. 21, 1925 in Fulton County. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from the United States Postal Service in College Park, with 30 years of service. He also had owned the Flower Junction in Union City. Services were at the McDonough Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. David Chancey officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jo Payton Cook, Newnan; a daughter, Debbie and Buddy Marjenhoff, Newnan; grandchildren, Greg and Brittany Simmons, and Brian Simmons; and brothers, Nelson and Mildred Cook, and Hubert and Betty Cook, all of Fayetteville. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge. login to post comments |
