By: The Citizen
As the final performance in its 2006-2007 Concert Series, Fayette Presbyterian Church will present Reggie Dancil in a 3 p.m. concert Sunday, April 15, in the church sanctuary. A graduate of Bethune-Cookman College, Dancil studied voice with Ms. Johnny M. Davis and is a licensed minister of Christians for Christ Ministries. Described as “a powerfully exciting motivational speaker and minister,” Dancil has performed as vocalist for a variety of churches, community events, weddings and parties. He has also appeared as a guest vocalist on public television. “His style is reminiscent of Nat King Cole and Johnny Mathis,” a spokesperson said, “and his repertoire includes popular pieces as well as sacred classics like ‘How Great Thou Art’ and ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’” A “Meet the Musician” reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased online (using PayPal) at the church website, www.fayettepcusa.org, or by calling the church office, 770-461-7147. Fayette Presbyterian Church is at 791 Forest Ave. (Ga. Hwy 92 North), Fayetteville. login to post comments |
