Harlie and June Deyton of Tyrone celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 6, 2007.
The Deytons were married in Hiawassee, Ga., in 1947 then moved to Tyrone in 1950.

They are members of First Baptist in Tyrone, where Harlie serves as a deacon. June was very active with the town until a few years ago when her health failed her.

Their family includes four children, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The children hosted a celebration on April 7, 2007, at First Baptist in Tyrone.
