The Major's apoligy

The Major used to be a volunteer firefighter and I knew him there. Amazing how many former service members joined the volunteer ranks. Our former Chief and now acting Chief are retired military. There were at least 3-4 others there as well.

Anyway he contacted me and asked me to post his apology. He promises Cal he would learn from this lesson to control his legendary temper.

Here is what he sent me:

I apologize

I apologize for responding to a personal attack on my honor.

I apologize for getting in the gutter with another blogger.

I am diasappointed that those that dish it out can't take it.

I'm sorry the country has become ruled by lawyers.

I'm sorry men can't handle things themselves.

I'm sorry I didn't ignore the ignorant.
