Annual garden tour returns Apr. 21

The Fayette County Master Gardeners are sponsoring their second annual Garden Tour featuring gardens in Fayetteville on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (rain or shine). Six diverse gardens will be on display.

The tour will include a professionally landscaped perennial cottage garden with over 10,000 bulbs and unique pathways, an old fashioned garden featuring rescued plants and hardscape materials from the family farm, a garden containing a railroad designed and maintained by the homeowner, a 30 acres woodland retreat that has been featured on HDTV’s “A Gardener’s Diary”, an eclectic garden that contains both formal and casual hardscape elements completed by a mother and daughter and a beautiful shade garden with whimsical garden art, three water features and a memorial garden.

Tickets are $15 and are available at all Andy’s Nursery locations, Fayetteville North and South, Peachtree City and Newnan. In Peachtree City at Pike Family Nursery and Wild Birds Unlimited. In Fayetteville, the Fayette County Extension Office, 140 Stonewall Ave, Suite 209 will also have tickets for sale.

Ticket holders can register to win door prizes from Andy’s Nursery, Pike Family Nursery and Wild Birds Unlimited . The drawing will be held on May 15.
