Promise Place, formerly the Fayette County Council on Domestic Violence, will sponsor an ARTcetra Live and Silent Auction on Saturday April 14, at the Tyrone Depot on 847 Senoia Road in Tyrone, Ga. The preview begins at 6:30 p.m. and the auction starts at 7:30 p.m.

Over 250 pieces of artwork including lithographs, oil paintings, fine art prints, serigraphs, etchings, watercolors, celebrity collectibles and sports memorabilia will be available for preview and selection. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beverages and sweet treats will be offered along with hourly door prizes and silent auction items. Tickets are $10 per person, and couples can purchase tickets for $15.
Local noted artist Patsy Gullett has donated a framed limited special edition titled “Doors of Fayette” to be auctioned. The remaining limited edition unframed prints will be on sale that evening. If you are dreaming of a holiday in Italy, a seven-day stay in a beautiful Villa set in the Tuscany region will go the highest bidder. Regency Fine Arts of Atlanta has promised to deliver an entertaining evening with many extraordinary values.

Anyone can become a patron and support the services that Promise Place provides in our community. Community support provides legal advocacy, crisis hotline help, counseling for victims, counseling for children, a food pantry, Safe Dating Education in Fayette County Schools and, opening in May 2007, an emergency shelter for victims who need a safe and secure home. Call Promise Place at 770-460-1604 or email promiseplace@bellsouth.net if you would like to help or become a sponsor. With your help, Promise Place can make a difference in the lives of those individuals who are victims of domestic violence.
