Michael Gentile, a sixth grade student at J.C. Booth Middle School, advanced to the state championship round of the Reader’s Digest National Word Power Challenge held March 19 at Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robbins. As one of the top 100 scoring sixth, seventh and eighth graders in the state, Gentile competed in the state championship, answering 21 out of 25 questions correctly.
