William Mark "Papa" Hayes, 75, Fayetteville, died March 28, 2007. He was born April 17, 1931 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hayes, a son, Mark Hammond Hayes, and a brother, Bob Hayes. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include daughters, Christie L. Hayes, Peachtree City, and Holly H. and Randy Chapman, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alex Chapman, Nick Chapman, and Clay Chapman, all of Fayetteville; and a brother, Joe and Laura Hayes. Memorial donations may be given to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2840 Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30315. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
