E. Ray Self, 55, Peachtree City, died March 24, 2007, in San Salvador, Bahamas. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, Bowdon. He owned and operated Combustion Services, Inc, in Peachtree City. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Robert Maulella officiating. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Self, Peachtree City; a daughter, Coli and Cris Escher, Atlanta, his mother, Anna Self, Carrollton, a brother, Billy and Kay Self, Peachtree City; and sisters, Donna and Jimmy Allen, Heflin, Ala., Sue and John Walls, and Sandy and Dennis Barr, all of Carrollton. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
