All Saints Anglican Church of Peachtree City has honored parishioner Jean Gibson for her long time leadership of the congregation’s prayer chain. Gibson recently stepped down from the position after twelve years of dedicated service.

The church recognized Gibson with a section about her on its website and a cake after Sunday’s service. As prayer chain leader, Gibson systematically identified the special prayer needs of those who were ill, travelling, or experiencing various difficulties. In this way, she was able to organize prayer support from numerous church members. Gibson’s years of service included many while the congregation attended another church in the area.

All Saints currently is meeting at Huddleston Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. It is affiliated with the Convocation of Anglicans In North America under the Right Reverend Martyn Minns of Fairfax, Va.
