The deadline for ordering Memorial Bricks for Veterans and current members of the Armed Forces is March 31.

Bricks ordered between April 1, 2006 and March 31, 2007 will be in place before the 2007 Memorial Day Celebration.

Orders received after March 31, 2007 will be placed one year later. You may order bricks for Veterans from any era, including those currently in the Armed Forces. You may order bricks for family members, relatives and friends, regardless of where they live. Bricks that you order will be placed adjacent to each other and their locations are documented and retained by VFW Post 9949 Quartermaster, Bob Konrad. The brick price remains $30.

You may pick up a brick application at the Peachtree City Library or by contacting the quartermaster at 770-631-1439 or by email at rjkonrad@juno.com. The brick order form is also available at Post 9949’s website, www.vfw9949.org. There will be approximately 700 bricks in place once this latest order is completed.
