Helen V. Shipp, 79, Fayetteville, died March 24, 2007. She was born Dec. 12, 1927 in Fulton County. She was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School class, and the First United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for her church and her community for over 30 years. Services are today at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Interment is at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Lester Shipp, Fayetteville; sons, James and Alejandra Haley, Cleveland, Tenn., David and Elizabeth Haley, McDonough, and Stan and Pam Haley, Warner Robins; a daughter, Janet Haley Karr, Dallas, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mena McMillan, Sandy Springs, and Pat Bailey, Loganville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. login to post comments |
