Compton headed to leadership conferenceTue, 03/27/2007 - 3:46pm

Elliot Compton of Peachtree City will represent Our Lady of Victory Catholic School in Washington D.C. at the Conference for the Junior Congressional Youth Leadership Council from March 31 to April 5, 2007. Compton earned his nomination by demonstrating exceptional scholastic merit and leadership potential. As a result of being selected to attend the conference, Compton met with Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss and U.S. Representative Lynn Westmoreland in February, and obtained funding for the trip from local businesses.
