Charles Johnson of Peachtree City is performing as a member of the Symphony Orchestra at Valparaiso University this year. Johnson plays string bass in the Orchestra, and is a sophomore music education major. He is the son of Charlie and Penny Johnson of Peachtree City.

The Symphony Orchestra is a 60-piece auditioned ensemble which is conducted by Dr. Dennis Friesen-Carper, Reddel Professor of Music. The Orchestra will end its season with a music tour of China.
