Teek K. Dorsett has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.

Dorsett, a wing inspections assistant chief with 16 years of military service, is assigned to the 494th Fighter Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, England.

He is the son of Tracy K. Dorsett Jr. of Farm to Market Road 996, Pottsboro, Texas, and Betty C. Dorsett of Windermere Blvd., Alexandria, La.
His wife, Ashley, is the daughter Dave M. and Arnette D. Hedges of Patricia Lane, Fayetteville.

The lieutenant colonel graduated in 1985 from Alexandria Senior High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1989 from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo.
