The once-Jewish, now ecumenical, service of Yom Hashoah, remembrance of the Holocaust, is scheduled for Sunday, April 15, at 4 p.m., at B’nai Israel Synagogue at 1633 Ga. Highway 54 east in Fayetteville.

Organized locally with Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, this is the fourth annual service for all people who are willing, simply, to remember.

Readings, candles, and music by the choirs of both congregations will comprise the worship service. An outdoor reception will follow.

Committee members include Susan Levine, David Beecher, Jay Lerner, Tara Levine, Steven and Megumi Cummings, Norilynn Truscott, Sallie Satterthwaite, Dan Hoodin, Edie Eickmeyer, Carol Jensen-Linton, Wes Saunders, and Leslie Merriman.
