Fayetteville Christian plans musical March 31
The Music Ministry of Fayetteville Christian Church will present “Above All,” an Easter worship experience Saturday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 1, at 10:30 a.m. The performance will feature the adult choir, a youth ensemble, and the praise band. PTC Christian plans Book-O-Rama
Peachtree City Christian Church at 500 Kedron Drive will host a Book-O-Rama Saturday, March 31, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The sale of gently used books, family videos, DVDs, music CDs, and books on tape will benefit the June Adult Mission Trip to Mexico. Coffee, juice and baked goods will be available for shoppers while they browse.
Hopewell UMC sets Easter events
Members of Hopewell United Methodist Church on Jenkins Road in Tyrone, invite the community to participate in their Easter activities and services. On Sunday, April 1, at 11 a.m., the choir will present an Easter Cantata. On Saturday, April 7, from 4 - 6 p.m., all children through the fifth grade are invited to participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt, including story time, music, the Easter Egg Hunt and a cookout. Liberty Baptist plans musical April 1, 2
The Worship Ministry of Liberty Baptist Church will present the musical entitled “Jesus, No Other King,” Sunday, April 1 at 6 p.m. and again on Monday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. The musical depicts the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through drama, music, and visual effects. Southside Baptist will host cookout, egg hunt
Southside Baptist Church will host a free community cookout and Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 7 beginning at 12:15 p.m. Children should bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. More than 1,300 eggs filled with candy will be “hidden” and prizes will be given. Following the egg hunt, free hot dogs, slaw, chips, drinks and desserts will be served. Hay rides will be available all day and the Easter Bunny will be on site. Southside Baptist is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, one and a half miles south of the Fayetteville city limits.
Lighthouse plans Easter Egg Hunt
The Lighthouse Church will host a special community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at the Huddleston Elementary School playground. There will be thousands of eggs, door prizes, and free Chick-fil-A biscuits for the first 200 guests.
Living Proof Church to host Easter Egg Hunt
A community-wide Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Living Proof Church, corner of Jenkins Rd. and Ga. Hwy. 74 in Tyrone, will be held Saturday, April 7, from 2-3:30 p.m. There will be games for all ages and prizes awarded for all age groups. Refreshments will be available.
New Hope plans Easter Egg Hunts
New Hope Baptist Church, South Campus (1563 Hwy. 74 South, Senoia), will host an Easter EGGstravaganza Saturday, April 7, from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. The event will feature family fun, pancakes with the pastor, egg hunt, inflatables, prizes, clowns and storytime. Flat Creek Baptist changes worship times
Flat Creek Baptist Church has announced new times for Sunday school and worship services. Dogwood Church will offer Saturday services
Dogwood Church, which opened the doors to its new facility in Tyrone in March of 2005, will add an additional family worship service on Saturday evenings, starting on April 14. The new service time will be 6:30 - 7:35 p.m. The church is on Ga. Hwy. 74 near the intersection of Dogwood Trail.
