Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Manning of Peachtree City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Molly Elizabeth Murphy of Peachtree City, to Patrick Taylor Burt of Woodstock.

The bride-to-be also is the daughter of Wayne and Julie Murphy of Greenville, S.C. and the granddaughter of Marjorie and the late Lawton L. Daniel of Perry, and Elizabeth and the late Patrick Murphy of Decatur. She attended McIntosh High School and the University of West Georgia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While at the university, she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She is currently employed as a sales executive with ChoicePoint.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Jackson Jr. of Hayesville, N.C. and Elizabeth and the late James M. Burt of Cordele. He attended Sequoyah High School and the University of West Georgia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology. While at the university, he was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. He is currently employed as an investigative agent for the Federal Investigative Services Division of the Office of Personnel Management-Southern Region in Augusta.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone. A reception will follow at Glendalough Manor.
