Got something to say about the big box rezoning on Ga. Highway 74 South? If you want to tell the Peachtree City Planning Commission your opinions, you’ll have to do it at a substitute location Monday night. “Due to the replacement of the HVAC system at City Hall and the large crowd expected for the public hearing on the Stephens tract, the Peachtree City Planning Commission meeting will be held at Kedron Fieldhouse, 202 Kedron Drive, at 7 p.m.,” according to Betsy Tyler, the city’s public information officer. Two public hearings are on the agenda: • PH-07-03 — Proposed rezoning of Stephens tract retail (Columbia Properties), Hwy. 74 South and Rockaway Road, GI to LUC (continued from March 12 Planning Commission meeting). • PH-07-04 — Proposed special use permit for The Shops at West Village retail development (formerly McIntosh Village retail center), Capital City Development, Ga. Highway 54 West. The Planning Commission is a recommending body for rezoning requests. The final decision on the requested change from Industrial to Limited Use Commercial will be made by the City Council in April. — Cal Beverly login to post comments |
