Volunteers are still needed to help clean up golf cart paths, parks and other areas in Peachtree City as part of the city’s Great American Cleanup Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Groups and individuals who register with the city will be provided litter bags and gloves, and those working along roads will also be provided with safety vests to make volunteers visible to oncoming traffic.

The cleanup was scheduled for early April in advance of the city hosting the overall start of the annual Tour de Georgia bike race Monday, April 16.

Volunteers can sign up by contacting the city’s public works department at 770-487-5183 or by e-mailing Mike Rogers at mrogers@peachtree-city.org.
