Eighth grader Kimberly Leoffler had been accepted in to the Rock Summer Dance Intensive in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The camp runs for four weeks offering students a variety of classes including ballet, Pointe, jazz, tap, modern, and pas de deux.

Leoffler attended the South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory in Columbia, South Carolina last year and greatly benefited from the experience.

When asked about the Rock, Leoffler said, "I think this will be a great opportunity for me to grow in my technique. I also hope to be able to learn from the great variety of teachers and dancers that will be there. I can't wait to share what I learned with all my teachers, family, and friends here in Georgia."

Leoffler will also be performing the role of Miss Hannigan with the Our Lady of Victory Catholic School drama club this May. Leoffler dances at the Peachtree City School of Dance run by Kathleen Senger and is a senior member of the Peachtree City Civic Ballet Company. She has danced featured roles in the Company's production of “The Nutcracker” and will perform in the World Premier of “Peter Rabbit” on Saturday, June 2. The studio offers a variety of classes for all ages in tap, modern, ballet, pointe, hip hop, and jazz. If you have any questions please call 770-632-1544.
