• Joseph Anthony Piasta of Tyrone has been named to the dean's list at Wake Forest University for the fall 2006 semester. Students who achieve a 3.0 or higher grade point average were named to the list. He is the son of John and Monica Piasta and a 2003 graduate of McIntosh High School.

• Glenn Paul Goorsky of Peachtree City has been named to the president’s list at Lenoir-Rhyne College for the fall 2006 semester. Qualifying students for the president's list must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.9 or better on a 4.0 scale, provided the student carried at least 12 hours of letter-graded courses. Established in 1891, Lenoir-Rhyne College is a private, coeducational college located in Hickory, N.C. It is affiliated with the N.C. Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is open to students from all religious backgrounds.

Burch of Fayetteville, a sophomore enrolled in AU's School of Nursing; Eric A.
