Tiger team eanrs medals at tournament at Shorter College

Tiger Martial Arts sent a team to the U.T.A. National Martial Arts Open Championship at Shorter College on March 10. The team returned with eight first place finishes, five second place finishes and two third place finishes.
The school also won the“Best School in the State of Georgia” trophy.

Here is how the athletes performed:
• Simone Harris, first in sparring and forms

• Matthew Todd, second in sparring and forms

• Adam Koja, third in sparring and second in forms

• Tyler Frazier, first in sparring, third in forms

• David Collins, first in sparring

• London Moriaty, first in sparring and second in forms

• Brandon Brown, first in sparring

• Darren Mitchell, first in sparring, silver in forms

• Carrington Howell Campbell, first in sparring

The athletes ages 6 and up that won medals qualified for the Nationals. Their next competition will be the 2007 Georgia Games TaekwonDo Championship in Smyrna on Apr. 14.

The team is coached by Alladin E. Koja, Naila K. Al-Sack and Mandel Jones. The head coach is Master Steve M. Kojak.
