McIntosh grad movie screening

Scott Gerard, a Class of 1995 gaduate from McIntosh, has a movie screening at the Independent Film Festival in Atlanta tomorrow at 4 p.m. Gerard served as executive producer for the movie and also has a small role in the film as Mr. Azzleton.

The film, “Anderson’s Cross,” is a coming of age story set in a small town. In the film, three friends must battle outside forces in their school and community during their last year of high school.

Saturday’s screening is the world premiere of the film. The screening will be at 4 p.m. at the Atlantic Station AMC. The film stars Joanna Cassidy, Bil Moseley and Samm Levine among others. Gerard stated that there are plans to bring the film back for the Atlanta Film Festival in April.
