The Fayette County Public Library gets in the Irish spirit for St. Patrick’s Day a little early this week as they hosted “The Celtic Collection” this past Monday. The collection featured numerous artifacts, some dating back as far as 1,000 B.C. These models served to explain the collection and answered questions about their roles in ancient Celtic society. They are (L-R) Marie Smith, Morgana McIntosh Brock, Betty Fowler and Page McDaniel Valleee. The collection can be seen again at the Atlanta Celtic Festival in Duluth on May 19. Photo/Ian Davis.
