McDonough Road ladies to host Sherri Dodd at ‘tea’ partyTue, 03/13/2007 - 3:18pm

The Women’s Ministry at McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville will host a Women’s “Treasured by God” Tea Party on March 24, featuring guest speaker Sherri Dodd, a native of Atlanta. Dodd earned a graduate of theology degree in Christian education from Bible School in Chattanooga, Tenn. After college, she and her husband, Randy, moved overseas as missionaries to Oslo, Norway. There Dodd helped her husband establish three international churches throughout Europe. During her years in Europe, Dodd began collecting antique teacups. Now living back in Georgia, she speaks at “tea” parties where she shares her extensive china collection. The “Treasured by God” Tea Party is for ladies college age and up and will be held in the Courtyard at McDonough Road Baptist Church from 2-4 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at the church for $10.
