Girl Scouts go to Program Aide training

Members of Girl Scout Troop 279 in Peachtree City attended Program Aide training in January. Program Aides are trained to work with younger Girl Scouts in areas such as songs, games, ceremonies, and camping. Approximately 40 local Girl Scouts and leaders from Service Unit 617 held the overnight training session at Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Pictured (L-R) in back: Ashleigh Ross, Nikki Vallor, Emily Kinyoun, and Jordan Cooper. Front: Jessica Parker, Shannon Smith, Abby Todd and Girl Scout leader Caroline Compton.
