OM launches Dance ministry
Operation Mobilization, an international Christian mission agency with its U.S. office in Tyrone, is launching a new ministry called DanceLink under the direction of Linda Wells. DanceLink will work in partnership with the Atlanta Christian Dance Company to facilitate dancers on the mission field to communicate the Gospel through the arts. This ministry will be launched at a worship and prayer morning on Thursday, March 15, at 8:30 a.m. at OM’s office and worship center. The public is welcome. OM is at 285 Lynnwood Avenue in Tyrone.

Reighard to speak at Dogwood Church Sunday
Dr. Ike Reighard, former senior pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, will speak at all morning services at Dogwood Church in Tyrone — 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. — Sunday, March 18, on the occasion of the church’s 20th anniversary. Reighard was instrumental in the founding of Dogwood Church (formerly known as Braelinn Baptist Church) 20 years ago. The church is on Dogwood Trail near Ga. Hwy. 74 in Tyrone.

Brooks UMC plans Parents Morning Out program
Brooks UMC is accepting registration for its new Parents Morning Out program. Programs are available for children 6 weeks to 3 years old. Children 6 weeks to 2 years can register for a two-day program either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. A three-day 3-year-old program will be offered on Monday/Wednesday/Thursday. Dogwood Church will offer Saturday services
Dogwood Church, which opened the doors to its new facility in Tyrone in March of 2005, will add an additional family worship service on Saturday evenings, starting on April 14. The new service time will be 6:30 - 7:35 p.m. The church is on Ga. Hwy. 74 near the intersection of Dogwood Trail.

Alveda King to speak at Eleventh Hour church
Dr. Alveda King, niece of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will be the guest speaker at the Eleventh Hour Call Church Wednesday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m. The church is at 385 S. Glynn St. (Ga. New Jerusalem plans revival, gospel concert
Members of the New Jerusalem Fellowship Church will celebrate their annual Spring Revival Friday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m. and Gospel Concert featuring the Fellowship Praise Team, Saturday, March 31, at 7 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth L. Hicks will be the Spring Revival guest speaker. New Hope to host Seder meal
New Hope Baptist church will host a free Passover Seder Meal from 5:30–8 p.m. Saturday, March 24 in the Cafe New Hope Baptist Church, 551 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. The Seder will be led by Rabbi David Liebe of God’s Appointed Times Ministries. Main dishes will be provided. Those attending are encouraged to bring a drink, dessert, or Jewish dish.
