The Fayette County Board of REALTORS Circle of Achievement (formerly known as Million Dollar Club) changed its name in 2006 to better reflect the efforts and accomplishments of its members. REALTOR members must close at least one million in new business during the qualifying year. In order to keep pace with the current real estate market, levels will move to 1.5 million in 2007 and 2.0 million in 2008.

“In years past, public perception has been unclear as to what “member of the Million Dollar Club” means. Some have believed that REALTORS in the Million Dollar Club received a million dollars in commission, which is not accurate. We hope, that by changing the name, people will realize that agents receiving this award are amongst the best in our industry,” said Awards Chair, Martin Wise.

To qualify, REALTORS must be members of the Board in good standing, complete application/worksheet listing all applicable sales and obtain a certification by their Broker. All applications are reviewed by the Awards Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. This year 260 REALTORS qualified.
Members of the 2006 Circle of Achievement will be honored at the Board’s annual Spring Ball on Friday, March 9, at the Georgia Aquarium.

The Fayette County Board of REALTORS is a non-profit trade association established in 1969 with more than 900 members who adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and agree in writing to arbitrate any business disputes for the best interest of all.
