On behalf of RE/MAX Regional Services, Regional Owner Howard McPherson and Co-Regional Director of Georgia Saundra Gotfredson, accepted the Buyer’s Visionary award last Saturday night at the 2007 Christian City Gala held at the Georgia International Convention Center.

The award recognized the real estate organization for donating a cottage – dubbed “The RE/MAX Home” – to Christian City’s new Children Village. The Village services abandoned and abused children in a family-unit lifestyle in which up to eight children live in one home under a married couple as a cohesive family.
Barbara Pearson, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Around Atlanta Results and RE/MAX Around Atlanta AllStars was among the RE/MAX Affiliates recognized at the Gala.

“I am proud to be part of an organization that not only sells homes, but that also provides homes for those that are in need,” said Ms. Pearson.Located in Union City, GA, Christian City is a not-for-profit organization that has provided care for abused and neglected children since 1965. Today’s total programs at Christian City include services for adults including care for the aged and infirm, Alzheimer’s care, and independent retirement living opportunities.
