The Housing Institute, Inc. announces the winners of the first annual Certified Professional Home BuilderSM (CPHB) Professionalism Awards On Thursday, January 11, 2007, The Housing Institute, Inc. (THI), administrator of the Certified Professional Home Builder SM program (CPHB) and a nonprofit subsidiary of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association, presented its first annual Certified Professional Home Builder (CPHB) Professionalism Awards. The awards were based on approximately 5,000 surveys conducted by GuildQuality, a national customer satisfaction survey firm. John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods received the CPHB Customer Satisfaction Award in the 100 and more permits category. The CPHB Customer Satisfaction Award is presented to the top builder in four categories: one to 20 permits; 21 to 50 permits; 51 to 99 permits; and 100 and over permits. This award is based on an index score comprised of a builder’s ranking in all nine GuildQuality satisfaction categories. The satisfaction categories include professionalism; scheduling; construction quality; communication; problem resolution’ employee and trade contractor; punch list; easier than expected; and recommendation rate. The combined index score represents the builder’s overall customer satisfaction rating.
