The Tyrone St. Patrick’s Committee has set the schedule of events for the first St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on March 17 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This community event will offer something for everyone. All activities will be held in downtown Tyrone at Shamrock and Triangle parks. Here’s the schedule

10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Handley Park to Triangle Park

SHAMROCK PARK
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
•Hamburger, chili, drinks,face painting,balloons and Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp.

The park dedication will honor and recognize the many contributors to the project. Along with state, county, and local dignitaries the community is invited to thank the many contributors that have made this park possible.
