Kiwanis Talent Show 2006

It’s that time of year again, all Fayette County school-age children have the opportunity to show their friends, neighbors and other citizens of Fayette County their hidden talents and possibly make some spending money in the process.

Over $4,000 will be awarded in prizes by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City, sponsors of its 22nd annual Art & Talent Showcase. The showcase is open to all public, private and home-schooled children in Fayette County. Competition in both areas is by age groups based on grade level.

Applications and complete rules may be picked up at any school office or at the Peachtree City Library. All applications must be submitted by March 8.

Submitted art work will be judged on Friday, March 9. Talent show auditions will be held on Saturday, March 10 at Starr's Mill High School. The Talent Show finals will be on Monday, March 26 at Starr's Mill and is open to the public free of charge.

All winning artwork will also be on display at that time. For additional information, contact Maurice Hansford at 770-304-8679, or visit the Kiwanis website at www.peachtreecitykiwanis.org.
